High-performance 3-chamber diaphragm pump with automatic pressure switch
SHURFLO 8000-343-236 is a compact diaphragm pump for applications requiring reliable fluid transfer, stable flow and robust construction. It reaches a flow rate of up to 3,8 l/min, operates on 12 V DC and the maximum pressure is approximately 4,1 bar.
In practice, it is particularly suitable for transferring water and process fluids, irrigation and watering, spraying systems, and filtration and circulation circuits. Integrated pressure control enables automatic operation according to current demand.

Key benefits
Automatic pressure-controlled operation
The integrated pressure switch starts and stops the pump according to system pressure, allowing demand to operate without a separate manual switch.
Self-priming design
The pump can draw fluid from a level approximately 3,4 m below the pump, which makes installation with a tank, drum or IBC container easier.
Integrated check valve
The one-way valve limits backflow and helps maintain pressure in the line after the pump stops.
Material version
The wetted parts combine Polypropylen / Viton / Viton. Always select the version according to the pumped fluid, its concentration and temperature.
Continuous operation
The design is also suitable for longer duty cycles provided the motor electrical and thermal limits are respected.
How the diaphragm pump works
Diaphragm hydraulics create vacuum on the suction side and pressure on the discharge side without a conventional shaft seal in the pumped-fluid area.
STEP 1
Diaphragms create suction
The movement of the diaphragms increases the volume of the working chambers and draws fluid in through the inlet valves.
STEP 2
Fluid is discharged to the outlet
On the return stroke, the working chambers become smaller and the fluid flows through the discharge valves into the system.

When pressure drops, the motor starts; after the outlet is closed and pressure rises, the pump stops automatically.
